That's exactly what happened. Plus they had to get rid of inventory from when a lot of folks weren't getting their SNAP benefits.

They have to get rid of their inventory so they can get in what they already ordered & paid for with the holidays around the corner.

Fill those freezers!
Go baby go!
I was thrilled because meat was half off today and the price was what it was a few months ago, I stocked up.

I wonder if people stopped buying meat so the store had to cut losses for it. I’m in a lower middle / low income area.

108 years ago, the US military carried out the largest mass execution in American history. In December 1917, the military hanged 13 soldiers. Another 6 were hanged less than a year later.

Yes...they were all Black soldiers.

It's best known as the Houston Riot of 1917

I hope people understand that we're far past just setting shit 47 has knocked over back upright. This will be rebuilding: NEW legislation, new institutional knowledge, new case law even. This will take decades. Not 4 years, not 8.
Once he IS GONE, it will take a while but we will have a semblance of normalcy again. Kind of like what happened after he left the 1st time. But this time hopefully things will be put in place so we do not Ever go through this nightmare again.
