btw, interesting anecdote from adam rippon today... he said he spoke to one of the tech panelists for dance after the RD and mentioned it seemed very harsh. the tech panelist said they WANT to give lvl 4's and don't try to be harsh but have to call it accurately. honestly, respect #SkateAmerica

Just a reminder how good a commentator like mark hanretty is at pointing out the mistakes and critiques and it doesn’t feel mean spirited, and in fact is often a teaching moment. I always feel like I walk away having learned a little more about figure skating listening to mark.

I was just reading my kid a book and the kid in the story has two moms. She didn’t bat an eyelash at it and neither did I.
