It's amazing how such an old and dusty Mac app can be so effective in keeping you away from doomscroll black holes. It does so well, because it blocks them at the system's hosts level.

A 10/10 recommendation!

For the last two years, we've been working on a new build tool for #Java, called #bld. It has now been added as one of the standard options to generate snippets in #Maven Central, the most popular repository of Java packages. Yay! 🥳

From simplicity to scalability, Go keeps proving it was built to last. A language that doesn’t chase trends, it outlasts them.

For times like these, when you'd think the world is going nowhere, I've set up this @feedle.world RSS feed search. There is so much going on in health, but we are so deep in 💩reading about politics that we don't even notice it.

I am adding more feeds here from other science disciplines as well.

One of the most powerful lessons about life, I learned while growing up:

Things are never too early.

Neither are they too late.

They are both.

At the same time.

If you are in Germany (EU shipping is also an option), you can consider buying the #Supernote Nomad A6x2, I bought back in September. I had to acknowledge that the device just isn't for me, but can perfectly suit someone else.

Sums it up pretty well.
My vague understanding regarding RSS feeds are that they didn't necessarily die, but a lot of places just decided they want your data so they demand an email address and/or an account to sign up to or whatever, does that sound correct? Sounds like a pain in the ass.
