Had a call at work where man was very clearly an Evangelical Christian, conservative leaning, but spoke about the fruits of the spirit and we talked about kindness. The sad thing is that there's a lot of people in the church who haven't missed that but still got it turned around we need them too

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

So a legal member of an internationally recognized group that has openly condemned the genocide in Palestine. You probably don't list every club you're a member of on your job applications, usually being a member of an internationally recognized peaceful organization isn't news.

They gave up private student records, let ICE on campus, suspended and expelled students, let the police brutalize students, removed members of the faculty, etc. It was not enough. It'll never be enough because the goal is to destroy academic institutions. Columbia did not understand that.

If you need to get somewhere safe than do so, but do not give up resistance of literal white supremacist nationalists as long as you have a choice. People's lives are on the line. Make them water energy, make them split attention, make them work for conquering
Through all the authoritarian bluster the wheels are already coming off the Trump administration in month 2 and doomposting them into a unstoppable juggernaut is less than helpful.
