I'm 30. I started medical transition nine years go. Only by calling up every GIC in the country was I able to find one that would take me and honour the wait I'd already done. If I hadn't I would still be waiting for hormones! I am beyond lucky to have had SRS last week, it is not a quick pipeline!
For those unaware, wait times for trans health care under the UK's NHS are famously long, as in people wait *years* to be seen just to try and get hormones, and the delays are 100% intentional.
this is what's known as a lie.

This weekend is the biggest of my life.

Sometimes #fibromyalgia can be pottering round the house, sometimes fibro can be resting in bed. Today, somewhere in the middle for me. It took me all day to make a cake, but I did it. It has a few mistakes to fix for next time. But it's a tasty cinnamon cake. Little victories.
