At last, we have finished our watch of every episode of SNL from start to finish (1975-2012). It had its ups and downs, but I'm glad they ended the show before things got REALLY bad!

video games get blamed for violent acts not because they’re actually correlated with violence (studies are mixed and often show the opposite conclusion) but because games are associated with young men dropping out of the workforce & engaging in other antisocial behavior that authorities don’t like

(for the 99.99% who don't have a clue: Scrooge HATES it when people call it his Lucky Dime. It's the very first coin he ever earned by himself, so it's his most prized possession but implying it's 'lucky' goes against all his morals. He said this at length MANY TIMES in the original canon 😅)

I feel he can be a bit naive and I certainly don't agree with all his takes, I still use Mark Hamill as an example of people not necessarily going more conservative as they get older. I admit I'm a bit afraid of that happening to me at times but he & Bernie and @fdsignifier.bsky.social give me hope

I think this will be my last post about the shooting. I'm challenging myself not to do it anymore at least. I've said my piece.
For profit meds is an absolute bad and not only would there be one less recent death if it wasn't in place, there would be thousands less overall. I hope it changes soon.
