I have this hopeful dream, that the local PD's storm in wearing full riot gear & make multiple lines facing the protestors. As a whole group, upon the orders of their Commander, they do an about face & turn to face the feds, fully putting themself between the protestors & the fed instigators.
The Los Angeles Police Department has stated that demonstrations in the city have remained peaceful. Let that sink in.

In normal times, DOJ wins most of its cases because it has the resources to ensure that presidential actions are lawful. But under Trump, the Department is run by a sycophantic election denying enabler. The result is DOJ's credibility with judges is in tatters and it is losing case after case.
