VERTIGO is up next, and I do think there's a trans argument within the film, but I primarily chose it as a gesture of love to Candy, because Kim Novak was her North Star. She idolized her, and I idolized Candy. It's my way of thanking her to put those two alongside one another on TCM tonight.

I do love the Cathedral of Learning, because I generally love over-the-top nonsense. Looking at it this evening, this dialog from "Ghostbusters" came to mind.
