If you’ve got a Senate Democrat who is not calling for new leadership, they’re part of the problem.
We should no longer trust Senate Dems who decline to come out against the leadership that led us here. Until proven otherwise, we should assume they were in on the game to fool their own supporters.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

I know it shouldn't matter, but it feels especially bad and wrong that 4 of the 8 Dem senators (half!) voting for this mess are women. Feels like even more of a betrayal coming from women, who should know better!

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

This whole "promise of a vote" thing is a complete LIE and the Dems who are going along with this KNOW that. The only way the ACA subsidies pass the 60 vote threshold in the Senate is if it's part of the deal to reopen the government. It is a completely cynical and dishonest ploy by these Dems

These rumors of Senate Dems getting ready to cave are *pissing me off*! I just called @murray.senate.gov and left a strong voicemail, don't cave on ACA. The "promise" of a vote is total bullshit (and i apologized but I did use that word in my voicemail)
