Researchers have found that inactivity is not the main cause of obesity. A new study published this week offers the best ways, in the long run, to avoid and treat obesity.
What causes obesity? A major new study is upending common wisdom.
Many people assume obesity is caused by inactivity and burning fewer calories. But our diets — and excess calorie intake — may actually be the cause.

Well this is an outrageous lack of transparency and ethics
Lawyers for ICE are increasingly hiding their identities in court. This is completely unprecedented.

“We’re not really doing names publicly,” said Judge ShaSha Xu — after stating her own name and those of the immigrants and their lawyers.

Some background in case you're wondering what these filings are about: Abrego Garcia's lawyers filed a motion for discovery to find out why the govt has failed to act to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia, and to answer her questions about where he is and what steps the govt is/will be taking 1/
The SCOTUS order is like 4 pages, total. The opinion of the court is *3 paragraphs.* This isn’t something you just miss or overlook.

It’s a brazen, completely inexcusable misrepresentation of the Supreme Court’s order.
SCOTUS on 4/10: “The order properly requires the Government to ‘facilitate’ Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador…”

DOJ on 4/21: Objects “based on the false premise that the United States can or has been ordered to facilitate Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador.”

READ THIS. Even if you are 100% opposed to his political opinions, you should be outraged about the illegal abduction and detention of permanent resident Mahmoud Khalil.
The detention of Mahmoud Khalil puts all Americans fundamental rights at risk. And if you can’t see that because you oppose his politics, well that’s exactly the reaction Trump and his cronies are counting on. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.

Don’t follow Trump’s lead. It’s the Gulf of Mexico. “DOGE” is not a “Department”. The Judiciary is *supposed* to rule when the Executive acts are illegal or unconstitutional. Trump can’t destroy Departments without Congressional Acts. These lies are tests of autocratic power. Don’t Obey In Advance!
