I have come to the idea that we have to collectively, brutally, ritualistically kill Target just to show capital that we truly aren’t fucking around.

This Monterey Mushroom facility has a strong union contract. The good union wages and benefits make for low overturn, which makes for extremely skilled workers like this.

I’m so pumped for the upcoming Moonstar series. I did a quick test to try my Hellfire Vigil look for her turned into an action costume.

Legislation in the US, sponsored by 22 members of Congress, calls for sanctions on Israel. This marks the first time that a resolution in Congress has explicitly called for sanctions on Israel.

The S in BDS is no longer a taboo in the US. Escalate BDS pressure now.

I’m still thinking about Bari Weiss saying that Hasan Piker (extremely popular influencer) is less of a measure of where Americans are than Alan Dershowitz (extremely unpopular Epstein associate, his own neighbors won’t sell him a pierogi)

Update 11/24: I can either appeal with the shelter, or pull my savings. I apparently can't do both. I really fucking hate how that feels, but I have 30 days to appeal so I'm sleeping on that decision for a day. anything helps!

There will never be peace when the majority of their population is this evil.
62% of Jewish Israelis say a militant should be killed even if they pose no threat. 55% support heavy fire on Palestinian population centers after rocket attacks. Those findings come from a new Israel Democracy Institute poll of 600 Jewish Israelis. Here’s what else it found:

Update 11/12: we were doing a "speak up" week last week, where we submitted "anonymous" surveys & criticism. it got extended for a week because of the amount of, and content of, the criticism. hopefully that's a good sign! anything helps!

My crush crushing my opps dreams 💚
Enten: "This is probably the worst 10 day period for the president in the polls his entire second term. The numbers are just atrocious ... when your best poll has you 14 points underwater, you know it's truly bad and it's as bad as 26 points underwater ... -43 with independents! They despise him."

I feel like the last couple decades of "is representation good or not?" discourse missed more important questions of "how fragile is representation?", "what do we do when multiple industries eliminate it as an intentional move against us?" and "how can we sustain queer artists when shit goes south?"
"According to the report, [...]during the 2024-25 television season, queer characters increased across platforms by 4%, bringing the total to 489. However, the Thursday report found that 41% of those characters will not return." www.thewrap.com/glaad-where-...

The 2024-25 TV season recorded 489 queer characters across broadcast, cable and screenings, but cancellations and plot find a deep decline to come

Under the new federal proposal, many graduate programs in traditionally female-led fields would no longer count as "professional" degrees. That means lower borrowing limits, the end of Graduate PLUS loans, and higher barriers for the very people we rely on in our classrooms, clinics, and communities

Nothing will ever be as humbling as a gainer blog on Tumblr reblogging your selfie in the Lord's year of 2017. And that's a shame that future generations will never feel this.
