Just heard one of the K Pop Demon Hunter songs at the store. Out of the context of the film this music is completely intolerable.

Spider-man Homecoming, when it's revealed that MJ's dad is Vulture and the soundtrack suddenly cuts, a guy in our theater loudly said "oh that's the bad guy!"

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Assuming this dope is right, which there is nothing near overwhelming evidence for, so what? What's his policy prescription? Abolish cities? Make a point or shut up!
Right, this is true, but the OVERWHELMING evidence of the past 100 years of American life is that vastly more people want space and a car than a smaller unit and a car-free lifestyle. This is mostly why the suburban share of US population has grown relentlessly for the entire 20th and 21st century
Some people put a premium on space in my experience, others put a premium on not having to have a car and not being isolated out in the suburbs
