anyway to Richard's point earlier today about "cars should be slower and worse": the X1/9 cruises beautifully at ~50mph/3000RPM. But at 70mph/4200RPM, you both A) feel like you need hearing protection, and B) feel feel like you might be taking your life into your own hands
