BBC now suggesting they didn't interview Zack Polanski on Laura Kuenssberg when he was elected because they weren't on air then. Which is technically true because he was elected on a Tuesday. However, they did air just days later on Sunday and featured interviews with Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch

Great to meet Sonia Winifred yesterday, to discuss sandpits in the park.
She is rightly proud of her achievements in keeping the parks open for all to enjoy, and reporting the accumulated litter.
In the Home Office scandal, she supported the Windrush Generation in getting lawyers to fill in forms.

He’s an LA native, American citizen and labor leader.

Many people in Lambeth have had enough of a Labour Party that does not listen and ploughs on doing what a small cabinet decides. We need @paulvalentineactor.bsky.social to win the #HerneHill #LoughboroughJunction by election on 1st May. He’s the ONLY candidate that can beat Labour. #VoteGreen 💚👇🏼

bike shuttle bus? 🤔
shuttle bus bike? 🙃
bike bus shuttle? 🤷

Whatever it is, people don't ride bikes to take the bus.

We need more, reliable river crossings for walking & cycling.
The new Silvertown bus shuttles are zero emissions, but the real issue is the flood of cars and lorries most of which won’t be zero emissions 🚗💨

The bike buses are an afterthought from the Mayor, greenwashing a £2.2 billion project that should’ve been scrapped or used for buses walking & cycling.

A pleasure to support such thoughtful and well organised local campaigners.

@karinlt.bsky.social and the Escalate Now campaign team made such a clear case that TfL needed to get on and grip the access crisis at Cutty Sark station, that they’ve now decided to fix the long-broken escalators.

But what is a drug consumption room? 🤔❓️

Drug consumption rooms (DCRs) are spaces where people can use drugs in the presence of health
professionals, in a clean and safe environment.

Powerful thread on the impact of disability on employment - particularly relevant today as we process the government’s changes to disabled people’s benefits announced yesterday.
I used to be a bike mechanic. When I became disabled, i asked for a hydraulic ramp as i could no longer lift bikes up and for someone to bring bikes down the stairs for me. I also said i might need occasional help with strength related tasks from my colleagues. I wanted to stay in my job. 1/-
