Now that the CPC platform is out, I can post an update to the debt/GDP trajectories.

The CPC document includes assumed revenue gains that many, including me, find dubious. So, I've put lines showing their numbers with/without the assumed revenue gains.

I'm using PBO GDP as demominator.

The amount of local opposition to new homes of any kind is disappointing, but every little bit of support helps!

Probably best use case for enforcement has been against drunk driving.
In the UK & Canada it's declined a lot since the 80s, and that's mostly education, enforcement and strict consequences.

Pretty soon we're going to have to grapple with the conclusion e-fuels will only make sense with vanishingly cheap hydrogen from VRE and electrolysers.

That is...cheaper than natural gas, not holding my breath on that in North America.

#energysky
A lot of people are not going to like this one but e-fuels are a hydrogen psyop. FF + DACCS significantly cheaper.

2A. ACCELERATE HOUSING REFORMS

The Housing Action Plan needs simplicity and boldness.

@oliviachowtoronto.bsky.social and @jasonthorne.bsky.social should expedite ambitious reforms, particularly for apartment infill.

Bloor-Lansdowne is currently getting some development and it's quite a different demographic than say the stations on the Danforth but still something very Toronto about abandoning the station in the neighbourhood with massive growth in favour of the one losing population.
Toronto, where City Council chooses to fund new rapid transit for declining house neighbourhoods over booming apartment neighbourhoods.

@shawnmicallef.bsky.social's article piqued my interest so I looked into the census data, which backs up the unfairness.

What’s it like to live in a country where traffic rules are real?
I would love to see how North American drivers would react if suddenly Australian cops took over traffic enforcement: speed cameras (fixed and mobile), seatbelt cameras, mobile phone detection cameras, bus lane cameras, and lots of RBT and traffic stops.
Walking would be safer overnight.

BloombergNEF recently revised it's green hydrogen cost projections.

$1/kg H2? Forget about it. Already $2/kg is a stretch, even for China and India who don't reach it until 2040.

Worth noting these are average costs tho. There will be exceptional projects that will outperform.
