A quick backgrounder on Nigeria for those who are just tuning in.

1. There's no Christian genocide, and certainly not on the part of the govt.

2. There has been a decade-long Islamist insurgency, mainly in the north but spreading in recent years, that has targeted many, including Christians.

Actually, Benny, the Constitution disagrees.

You don’t need to believe in God to be an American — you just need to believe in freedom. You know, like the freedom to believe whatever you want.

That’s why the founders banned religious tests for public office.

Religious freedom means all faiths — or none.

Tuberville’s fear of Muslims isn’t patriotism. It’s prejudice.
Tuberville: “We just saw what happened in NY. We lost NY. It will be completely Muslim in 3-4 years. That’s what they want. And it’s going to spread throughout the country.”

Dr. Paul Farmer proved that high-quality care is possible anywhere, and helped inspire PEPFAR and The Global Fund.

Today, that legacy is at risk as billions in approved U.S. funds remain withheld.

Donald Trump is telling his DOJ to prosecute people involved in defeating him in 2020. He will claim the 2025 California referendum was fraudulent. He is going to try to impose voter ID and ban mail-in and early voting for 2026.

I will do everything I can in the courtroom and in public to stop him.

Mace only seems to care about protecting Christians. That’s Christian nationalism.

Mike Johnson is now pretending that it's Rep-Elect Grijalva who is not doing her job, when he's the one shirking his duties.

And even *he* knows this is bullshit. He corrects himself to call her "Rep-Elect" not "Rep" because he actually understands there's a very important difference.
Mike Johnson: "Rep. Grijalva can work -- Rep.-elect Grijalva can work for her constituents right now. Constituent services, answering the phones, she has computers and 16 employees and there's no excuse for it. The Epstein files are being released."
