Acceleration

“In 2015 our projected deadline for reaching 1.5°C was 27 years away. Now that threshold is only 4 years away – 23 years closer. This striking change suggests that global warming has accelerated quickly in recent years.”

The party who claim to be patriots literally had a Reform leadership member caught red handed taking bribes from Russia.

This article details the speeches Nathan Gill gave that he was paid to give.

How are Reform getting away with this?

Ironic given that yesterday NESO gave an update on Clean Power 2030 and we're actually closer to it than you might think.

In 2024 "clean power" (nuclear, wind, solar) produced 74% of Great Britain's electricity generated, up from 63% in 2022. CP2030 target is 95%

This is a more positive take, and it’s definitely part of the government’s thinking. But there should be a better way of doing this without kicking off another big political row around net zero. bsky.app/profile/paul...
Is there not also - given the bids are going to be submitted soon - an element of the government saying "don't take the piss because we're not going to buy offshore wind at any price."?
