When the Pens are giving up 40 shots a game, it’s hard to be mad at a goalie, even if any given goal is weak.

Congrats to Sergei Murashov on his first shutout. Hell of a game. Was a bit surprised they pulled the goalie while down 3 (with not nearly enough time to complete the comeback) and glad that it didn’t pay off.

One thing I’ll say about this Pats’ uniform is that I line that foggy/smoky look. Very much a New England cottage interior. It just doesn’t work as well with the Patriots name though. You need the Very American colors scheme.
It’d be interesting to see the Red Sox try their hands at it.

I’m just happy we got a point. Silovs made some great saves and we looked good for the most part.
I’m amazed at the disparity between Silovs during the course of the game, even on breakaways, and him in a shootout. I’m not actually sure he’s managed to stop a single shot. If he has, it’s not many.

Penguins don’t look perfect, but they’ve definitely got some jump in their step again and are looking like they’ve figured some stuff out.
As for Jarry, I’m genuinely starting to think that his main problem isn’t a lack of skill or even mental toughness, but a matter of recovery.

It’s certainly not the most important or impactful example of the phenomenon, but the rapidity with which iRobot has completely lost me as a customer by being customer-hostile is still astonishing.
