It’s inconsequential in the scope of…everything, but this is an example of a “what are we doing here?” moment. Which Public Parking Authority of Pittsburgh employee was having such a terrible day?

Debating challenging the ticket just for the sake of returning the gift of petty bullshit they got me.
A picture taken of the windshield of my car, with a had-written sign on it, which reads “TIRE EXPLODED, car cannot be moved safely for street cleaning. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.” An arrow on the sign points to the tire that was destroyed. The sign is taped to the windshield with green painter’s tape, and also held in place by the windshield wiper. ALSO tucked under the windshield wiper is a ticket for a $30 fine from the public parking authority of Pittsburgh for failing to move my car than cannot be moved safely.

With Facebook actively preventing people from searching for certain terms on instagram, I’m officially going to delete my account. I left up a goodbye post and a single other post, a picture of me, age 5, on Halloween.
A picture of Alex at the age of 5, taken on Halloween. The “costume” is, well…Let’s work top to bottom. So my hair is dyed red and is in a messy fauxhawk. White sunglasses too large for my face sit on my nose. I am wearing a grey long-sleeved sweatshirt. Over that is a blue shirt-sleeved shirt that has a bedazzled shape (heart?) on it. Around my neck is a small plastic guitar. On the guitar is stamped “Boss Guitar”. Undeniably accurate. Below that, I am wearing bedazzled jeans. My blue shirt is tucked into the jeans, and around my waist is a rainbow scarf. In the background are two separate full bags of candy. This costume worked pretty damned well I’d say. Oh, I forgot the other thing I’m wearing: the stupidest fucking expression imaginable. It’s like a baby surprised and delighted at their own farts. But he’s also trying to look cool. Also I think I’m missing some teeth. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Dog 1: Paddington D. Foote He is a black and white dog, a mix of Great Pyrenees, Coon Hound, and Pitbull, plus some others. A mutt. He’s is 65 pounds. In the photo he is looking concerned at the camera as he sits on the top of a couch cushion. Not laying down. He has climbed onto the couch, put two legs over the top of a cushion, with the cushion still sitting where it should be. Dog 2: Barrister von Toodlesnoot She is a mixed brown and white dog. She has large ears that are very expressive, and her front paws are all white. She is a mix of German Shepherd, border collie, and others. She is as neurotic as that sounds. She is about 45 pounds. In the picture, she is wearing a blue bow in her hear and wearing a blue and green bandana for spring. She is sticking her tongue out at the camera as she looks off slightly to the left. Dog 2 (see prior photos) Here she has a massive grin as she sits in fresh snow. Her coat is lightly powdered with snow, except for her snoot, which has a large account of it. You can’t tell from the photo, but this is because I threw a snowball into a pile of snow and she went crazy trying to find it. If you’re reading this alt-text, you now know more than people who do not. Dog 1 (see prior photos for description) In this photo, he is sitting in the foreground, smiling a big goofy smile at the camera. He looks like what he is, a big goofy idiot. Dog 2 sits in the background, also smiling. The two dogs have knocked a couch cushion off of where it belongs because they are big jerks who don’t respect property rights.
