Everyone is at risk for #lungcancer by the virtue of having lungs.

Lung Cancer Europe's 9th Report finds that 46.5% of those diagnosed didn't recognise the symptoms. Another 42.9% misattributed them to another condition.

Supporting neurodivergent doctors is about creating inclusive environments, about language & how we challenge stigma.

It's about celebrating strengths & adjusting environments for the benefit of many.

So right - if we don’t look after our staff how can they look after patients?
#wellbeing #burnout #selfcare #NHS
editorial from @bmj.com and paper: Poor staff retention is associated with higher patient mortality. Have said it before & I’ll say it again. If you don’t care for the carers, they cannot care for their patients.

Let’s harness our collective expertise and never make assumptions. Some of the best doctors I know are #SAS doctors 💯
SAS doctors have existed almost as long as the NHS.

There are lots of reasons why someone might choose or find themselves outside of a rotational training programme.

We aren't all the same, and nor do our careers have to be.

While we’re talking about end of life care, I found this quite difficult as a junior doctor.

I evolved a series of strategies for how to cope in this situation.

Some of those tips are written down in a blog from a few yrs ago. Link ⬇️⬇️

Like many others, I feel very strongly about this.
