Cowabunga! This was the first set I had the privilege of writing creative text for, and I’m so excited I can finally talk about it. So much fun to dip my toe back into the world of TMNT, and contributing to Magic: The Gathering has been a dream! 🍕🐢 #MTGxTMNT

Francesca Scorsese and her dad Marty are delightful, but the funniest part of this is how quickly he gets Cape Fear.
Martin Scorsese and his daughter Francesca read Letterboxd reviews and guessed which Scorsese movie they were about.

Whether the Dodgers or Blue Jays won, they both deserved it, I’m just glad someone won before midnight L.A. time. I don’t think I’ve seen a final game (game 7 no less) with so many twists and turns going into extra innings like that and end on such a nail-biter. Epic World Series! ⚾️

I’m folding laundry and watching Rogue One, and my son pokes his head in from this other room and asks, “Which Star Wars movie is this? Oh, is this Andor?” and I just nodded, “Yes.”

I don’t make it up to Hollywood that often these days, but when I do, it’s to take the family to the world premiere of the new SpongeBob Movie: The Search for Squarepants at AFI Fest with special bonus short Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 Lost in New Jersey. Good times all around! 🧽🍍🍕🐢

I blazed through the excellent 5-hr “Mr. Scorsese” doc. It’s only problems are it’s still too short, and now I need to watch every single Martin Scorsese movie again.

Too bad our industry collapsed and you’ll not get anything like the first two images for a really long while unless someone is coming to our rescue. I know because I literally just talked to Pen, Ian, Rebecca, and Pat yesterday.
Gen Z wants more animation and less sex onscreen, according to a Teens & Screens survey, Variety reports.

Preference for animated content over live-action jumped from 42% from last year to 48.5% this year and nearly 48% of 19-24-year-olds also preferred animated content.

My only hot take about this. As cool as a Steven Soderbergh-directed Star Wars movie (a Ben Solo movie no less) would be, I gotta say, considering how fans are, I think Soderbergh might’ve caught a lucky break.

The new Lupin III looks so good, guys!
This photo accompanying a news story about the heist at the Louvre is perfection.

Finally watching The Studio, and the CEO of said studio played by Bryan Cranston is a character named Griffin Mill, which is also the name of the studio exec Tim Robbins played in The Player, so I just went down the internet rabbit hole trying to decipher if or how this is a remake and/or sequel.

It’s official! I can talk about it!

I’ve spent the last 2+ years leading the narrative for the Magic: the Gathering Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set!

I’m excited to see all of this release! TMNT is such a weird, wild franchise that meshes weirdly well with Magic

I’m so excited I can finally talk about this. I had the opportunity to contribute to the creative text for this MTG set. Being able to write Star Trek especially was an amazing privilege and experience.

Set course for November 2026 and engage! #MTGxStarTrek #StarTrek

Kind of ironic that these words won an Emmy this week.

“...when truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped
from our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest...”
“Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil…”

Look, if I can’t have my “Judgment at Space Nuremberg” with General Hux, I am 100% there for “Kleya & Vel: Space Nazi Hunters”!
ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy likes the idea of a Kleya and Vel ‘Nazi hunters’ spin-off series in which the duo hunt after former Imperials following the fall of the Empire with the assistance of Dedra Meero in a Hannibal Lector-esque role.

A lot of parents talk about introducing their kids to things they love (movies, music, sports, etc.), myself included, but one joy of being a parent I don’t think is talked about enough is your kids introducing great new stuff to you.
