Generally use social media for news and politics. I like what Pete Buttigieg says. It's the kind of stuff I think, but just can't quite articulate as well.

I did this action myself, contacted my local paper and they printed the story I wrote. I'm just a cheesemonger and woodcarver.

Every action counts. Put yourself out there any way you feel comfortable or even slightly uncomfortable.

Read the whole thread from this US Senator.
Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Is there a list of all the senators that asked questions and gave @booker.senate.gov a break?

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

Democrats really believe that THEY will be blamed for shutting down the government when there is video of Elon Musk out there with a fucking chainsaw???

I guess they have no faith in their ability to make ANY case to the American people anymore.

For all you youngins who do not know 20th century history, a world war can be STARTED by a single simple thing.

22 million people died in WWI from the simple act of a single assassination, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria on June 28, 1914.

Pete Buttigieg, please do a town hall. 🙏

Please, please, please, please... 🙏

And if you wouldn't mind, please televise it, so lots of people can watch it 🙏
I think it's a great idea for Dems to do more town halls and other direct engagements - and it's vitally important to find people in offline, human spaces so we can have real conversations. I'm certainly planning to do more of this in the coming weeks/months.
