i'm gonna be real. if arc raiders or any game that has genai in it or was snuck in/patched out wins an award at TGA or game of the year, it's gonna be bad. the awards are meaningless to the average consumer. but to execs it's a huge deal and it'll be a signal for them to keep pushing for it.

I’ll probably grab it once version 1.3 hits Switch 2. Seems with the dynamic music being fixed, all if my major issues with the release will be resolved then.

Interesting for Nintendo to say that acquisitions are part of their growth strategy since they've been saying that they prefer organic growth until now.
Still I imagine they don't have anything big in mind. Probably looking at some of their existing close partners like HAL and Intelligent Systems.

I'm not at all surprised that Yacht Club was able to get Switch 2 dev kits but I do wonder how it benefits a game like Mina The Hollower. Doesn't seem like a game that needs it.

worth pointing out that game devs at xbox are some of the very few people at microsoft engaged in work that people actually want. no one wants copilot. no one wants to rely on windows anymore. no one wants teams and no one wants drone targeting AI. but i do want pentiment

I was hoping for a June Direct but seems pretty clear now that we're getting a Nintendo Today Direct.
Splatoon 3 ver. 10.0/Raiders announcment and now a Donkey Kong Direct both announced in Nintendo Today. I honestly expect a few more Nintendo Today announcments thoughout the month now.
