There is no incorrect language used here. The use of additional clearly indicates that there is already some cost. This is about as clearly and transparently communicated as possible so I have no idea what point you’re tying to make here.

Also omg being able to disable auto lock is such a huge improvement! Now they just need to allow me to throw as many Pikmin as I want at something instead of stoping me at the minimum and the game controls will be fully fixed.

Yep. Picking a lane with new releases is more important than ever. Especially with how it can straight up ruin your experience with a game as all you’re thinking about while playing is how quickly you can move on to the next game.

But yeah I woudn't expect many dates yet since it's odd in the first place for us to know so many games for the following year already. Most Nintendo games get announced in the same year they are released.

The Switch 1 had big release gaps that were filled with Wii U ports so imo the Switch 2 is currently doing better with the pacing of new releases.

Animal Crossing and Mario Wonder Switch 2 Editions vs Mario Tennis, Pokémon Pokopia, Yoshi ATMB, Fire Emblem FW, and Splatoon Raiders.

What am I missing in your calculation that there’s more Switch 2 Editions than new games announced for next year?

So what’s preventing it from downloading while in sleep mode? Even the Switch can do that with remote downloads from a browser. It’s always just seemed odd to me that the Steam Deck can’t. Genuinely curious as to why.
