Was at a Christmas party with a load of clergy last night and as some people were leaving they found a person collapsed on the street outside so the Verger took over and called an ambulance and sent all the clergy away because "if they wake up surrounded by priests that'll just make things worse"

This is an absolute disgrace of an article. 7% of the electorate in this council ward voted for Reform and yet the BBC News report it as this.

So, just to confirm, the BBC can’t keep Robin Ince on the air because his trans allyship brings the organisation into disrepute, but they can keep David Walliams, who performed Nazi salutes at the recording of this very show, on the air despite him being predatory towards women. Cool. Very normal.

The only job Ai could actually replace without affecting productivity is CEO. Terrible decisions based on bad information. No empathy or regard for people's well being. Its a perfect fit. Imagine how much money shareholders would save if they didn't have to pay CEO bonuses.

A $400 million Varshavyanka-class Russian submarine used to launch Kalibr cruise missiles at Ukraine has been successfully decommissioned by the SBU using underwater drones.

The first time in history a drone takes out a submarine.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Joe Lonsdale flies under the radar a bit due to the public profiles of many of the other members of the PayPal mafia like Thiel, Musk and Sacks. But he is absolutely just as awful: co-founder of Palantir, and funds the Cicero Institute which is working through the courts to criminalize homelessness.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

This is who she was.
Passionate in her beliefs. Fiercely loyal to her friends. Never afraid to let you know exactly where she stood. The best.

Fun Fact: I remember arguing with her over which of us hated Piggy the most. I was sure I did. She disagreed. It remains unresolved...
Carrie Fisher was the blueprint.
Protect your people. Call out the predators.

It's easy for Danny Kruger to talk about massive cuts to the civil service, because he's an entitled prick who's never had a proper job and has zero idea what government workers actually do. Everything seems easy when you know fuck all.
