I'll always remember the Witchblade anime as my very first "came for the (x) stayed for the (y)" experience. Younger me thought it was going to be mindless titillation and gratuitous violence, but the character driven drama was a FANTASTIC curveball. The gratuitous violence was just a bonus.

So, for what it's worth: I don't think AI is taking over jobs because it's better than people or even good at its job. I think it's taking over jobs because it's cheaper than people and bosses like cheap and aren't necessarily aware of the (very high) risk of bad, dangerous quality output (7/7)
