HERE'S THAT DANG PAGE You can tell that it's more of a costume here that definitely gets prettied up in post. Also even if that costume adds a few inches whoever's wearing that 00 Raiser costume is TALL AS HECK compared to that crew member.

But the executives meddled, because they were trying to appeal to the same crowd of fujoshis that really, REALLY enjoyed Wing, hence the all male team of Gundam pilots.

That all said, I love that androgynous, angsty eggplant, but it's interesting to see what could have been.

Honestly, I love that Judau just kept piloting his giant robot for basically forever. At one point he realized "Oh shit it would bad if folks knew I had a Gundam" so he slapped a mask on it and the ZZ would eventually become the beloved frankenmech he piloted well into the UC 0130's called the Gump.

I put together this guy in GB4 which I've named the Aeon Gundam because, with as much as the franchise likes to dabble in all sorts of religious theming from time to time, I don't think I've seen them tackle Gnosticism for naming conventions all that often.
