MAGA claim the border is completely locked down and closed thanks to the orange felon, but they can’t explain why the MAGA regime feels it’s necessary to blow up boats if that were the case.

They can’t explain it because the reality is they want to commit war crimes.

BREAKING: The U.S. Coast Guard has quietly enacted a policy downgrading swastikas and nooses from hate symbols to “potentially divisive.” The manual is now in effect, despite public outrage and warnings after the draft was revealed last month. (Washington Post)

BREAKING: The House of Representatives just passed a bill that would subject immigrant children to invasive bodily searches and keep them in detention instead of releasing them to their families.

The Senate must vote no on this horrific bill.

I interviewed Rob Reiner as one of the bonuses for the @criterion.bsky.social BluRay of SPINAL TAP. We talked for an hour about the movie and his career and then they shut off the cameras and we talked about movies for another hour. A delightful, unhurried genius.

On a personal note.

I knew Rob Reiner & his lovely wife Michelle. One of my happiest memories was chatting with them in their kitchen, making sandwiches talking politics, and movies.

They were kind people. Extraordinarily normal and very, very kind.

I love & miss them already.
Life is short.

Trump and his Republicans took $1 trillion out of benefit programs and transferred it all to the wealthy who already had more money than they could spend. The Republican Party does NOT now and NEVER has represented ordinary Americans.

I know things can feel heavy and hopeless at times. There is so much needless death and tragedy all around us.

When you’re feeling low, reach out to your loved ones. Tell them how much they mean to you.

Spread some love and laughter in a weary world.

Only five of the agency’s civil rights offices remain nationwide. Those who are still with the department say it will now be “virtually impossible” to resolve #discrimination complaints.

Young American men volunteer for military service, knowing they may have to sacrifice their lives for their country.
But they didn't volunteer to sacrifice their futures to protect the President or Secretary of Defense from being convicted of crimes.
That's not the service for which we thank them.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

In the last few weeks, I’ve become increasingly convinced that Trump and his regime are totally cooked.

They can only stay in power by stealing elections—but they can only do that if enough people are willing to help them.

They’re in a downward spiral and can’t pull themselves out of it.
