ATTN FEDERAL WORKERS: It has come to my attention that several agencies are now offering WiFi for you to use with your PERSONAL devices. If I were you, I would NOT use that WiFi. I suspect it's a way for DOGE to monitor your personal communications.

Being disabled is not a moral failing, character flaw, or result of bad “personal choices”.

We all become disabled eventually.

Clean water, safe food & a healthy environment are great. Everyone deserves access to them. But they will NOT cure disability.

Pushing rhetoric that they will is eugenics

Yes, tariffs are a tax, but people don't mention often enough that they are a regressive tax. Taxes on consumer goods tax the poor at a higher rate, as basic necessities are a much larger part of their spending.

If food goes up by 20%, it is a tax on the poor. Rich people won't even notice.

Great read from @ericvb.bsky.social on the story of a French animator who managed to get a job at Studio Ghibli. The insight into Ghibli's methods and hands-on care couldn't be timelier in terms of the current news cycle and OpenAI's ghoulish Ghibli ripoff machine.
What Working on Princess Mononoke at Studio Ghibli Taught Me
In the middle of one of their most crunched productions, Studio Ghibli’s masters showed a young French animator the ropes.

Countries are off loading US Treasury Bonds for Euro Bonds.

Trump will bankrupt America within the next four years.

The Euro will dominate.

Countries have been waiting to make this move for years. Ditching the dollar.

Trump gave them the excuse they were looking for.

In the last year Minnesota farmers have had to weather extreme flooding, drought, new tariffs, and the spread of avian flu.

Today I’m recommending an additional $4 million to help our poultry and livestock producers respond to the effects of avian flu.

Today is my husband’s 44th birthday. A few months ago we did not know if he would make it to this date after experiencing a severe autoimmune attack.

I’m so grateful to celebrate today with him while he recovers.

Major news breaking from NOTUS on Trump’s trans passport ban:

It will not be retroactive.

Very glad I and others encouraged people to get their passports in the lead up to Trump’s inauguration.

Now hopefully this EO is defeated in court.

“They can still apply to renew their passport — they just have to use their God-given sex, which was decided at birth,” the White House press secretary told NOTUS.

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.

Learning to set goals changed my life.

I no longer make resolutions for myself.

I set big goals, then smaller goals to work towards those large goals.

Day 4 of 21. I got this.
