If you as a parent do not want your child to read about something, that is your job as a parent to oversee their reading. It should absolutely not affect what children who are not yours are reading.

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:
Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.

sometimes i feel like we need a word other than "art" to describe the _craft_ of creating visual art. i cant critique any of my own work or processes without someone kindly telling me that "there's no wrong way to do art!"

Reminder- using reference for art is NOT cheating. Depending on what type of artist you are, you should absolutely be using it. All highly skilled pro artists I know use it.
