Buried in the happenings of our present time:
On Aug. 6th, 1946, the first atomic bomb used in warfare was dropped on the city of Hiroshima. The bombing resulted in an estimated 70k-140k in deaths by the end of 1945.
On Aug. 9th, 1945, Nagasaki will be bombed, resulting in 39k-80k in deaths.
Talk about deranged. Oh my God!!!

The 2020 Georgia election case is going to be dismissed in its entirety, with the prosecutor offering less-than-persuasive reasoning. A miscarriage of justice that weakens our democracy.

The message behind “quiet, piggy” was not subtle.
I decide who speaks. I decide what truth is. I decide whose pain persists and whose gets erased. I decide what women are allowed to ask me. I decide which crimes survive and which get swallowed in smoke.

How long til he starts doing it on Fifth Avenue?
Trump: I don't think we're gonna necessarily ask for a declaration of war. I think we're just gonna kill people. Okay? We're gonna kill them. They're gonna be, like, dead.

Gerrymandering is a form of voter suppression.

Voters in gerrymandered states find out quickly that their vote doesn’t count toward their representation, so they become apathetic.

If you’re doing a ‘double tap’ strike on a hospital, you’re a war criminal and a terrorist.
#GAZA: Multiple journalists killed by Israeli strikes on Nasser Hospital, including a freelance journalist who worked for @apnews.com.

At least 8 people were killed in a double-tap strike on the 4th floor, Gaza's Health Ministry said, the second attack came as rescue crews arrived.

Trump was fined nearly $500 million after he was found guilty of bank fraud. But he might not have to pay the piper after all.

Make no mistake: federalizing the police and deploying the National Guard to DC isn't about a non-existent crime wave. It's an authoritarian move to crush dissent and strip Americans of their right to self-govern. This is a chilling precedent for every city in America.

Last month, a judge limited immigration raids in LA that were based on broad criteria such as speaking Spanish or gathering at locations where day laborers often congregate.

Now, the Trump admin is asking the Supreme Court to lift that order.
Trump administration asks Supreme Court to allow ‘roving’ immigration raids in Los Angeles
The Justice Department called a lower-court order that limited the raids “a straitjacket" for law enforcement.

The company's co-owner brought a flier opposing a pending change limiting Medicare $ for his products.

The next day, Trump posted the flier on Truth Social.

The next month, the Medicare change was tabled.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily blocked a lower court ruling that ordered Trump to return control of California’s National Guard to the state. The decision pauses U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer’s finding that the president’s deployment of the Guard was unlawful.

Trump is trying to stifle free speech.

He's attacking the press.

He's kidnapping U.S. residents and sending them to foreign prisons without due process.

When asked if he would uphold the Constitution, he says "I don't know."

If this isn't dictatorship, I don't know what is.

The executive targets his opponents w/bogus investigations. His government disappears people w/out due process and vanishes them beyond reach. He usurps legislative power, controls public funds at will, & consolidates power. Loyalty is expected — or else.

Authoritarianism isn’t coming. It’s here.
