I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

I'm not a recall fan, but you can't keep changing the rules mid-game to your favour.

Don't like your own rules you ran elections on? Then get another mandate

B.C. may have the historical reputation for cannabis use but, at least when it comes to legal sales, Albertans are the biggest consumers:
Albertans drinking way less booze than they used to, lead all provinces in cannabis sales | CBC News
You know those giant bottles of vodka you can get at Costco? The 4.5-litre ones? That's how much less booze the average Albertan drank last year, compared to how much they drank in 2008.

Always true. Prevention is so much cheaper.
Anderson Cooper: So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?

Answer: Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing… #HousingFirst

I knew that this day was coming. The UCP had been warning for months that they were going to take away the rights of transgender people (not just children but adults too). I thought I was prepared. But I am still very angry that it has happened.

2) "very flustered after hearing the voicemail" - 'Cuz you're sorry or you got called out?

Nobody who has dismissed the Epstein files at this point will be swayed by this PSA. But that call to action at the end? The demand that people spam their elected officials until they are embarrassed into doing the right thing? That absolutely can work.
