I'm hoping to find some other religion nerds via this podcast and account. I'm thinking right now about non-scientific history methods over time. All history methodology now is historical materialist, even though many people don't like its marxist roots. But what other ways have we done history?

Oh yeah, I technically forgot about abandonment by an unbeliever. It's a hard one to prove to a congregation's satisfaction that someone has abandoned both you and the faith.
Well, the only biblical grounds for divorce (in the Protestant tradition) are sexual immorality (Matt. 5:32, 19:9) and abandonment by an unbeliever (1 Cor. 7:15), so we can draw some conclusions.
