Trump’s problem is that so many Americans — including his MAGA base — believed that he’d expose a powerful global elite.

But every day it's becoming more and more clear that Trump may actually be part of that global elite.

Expect him to lash out as the walls close in.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social , have you done a comparison to Dickensian era economic policy and outcomes? It sure feels like we are heading to workhouses, indentured type work, and streets full of hungry children.

The cruelty is the point.
Catalina “Xóchitl” Santiago spent nearly two months in ICE detention—despite having protection under DACA—until a federal judge ruled that the government had no reason to keep her in custody and ordered her release.

DHS is still vowing to "explore every available option to remove" her. My latest:

Immigrants brought here as children were told they wouldn’t be deported. Now, they’re being targeted anyway.

AOC: How can we, as members of congress, Republican or Democrat, vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people? That is what this legislation does. In fact, Senator Graham said he was going to seek well over $1 million from the American people, from this.

A little bit of history worth knowing. If it’s history, they are trying to wipe it out, to make room for the absurd tales of eternal innocence that bring fascism and bloodshed closer.

Show me the typical person earning, say, $60k annual, busting to work and take care of the family, who has time or skills to "negotiate" the fees for a broken leg, a pregnancy, cancer, or anything else. And of course, there is no one to negotiate with on the medical side anyway. Idiocy!
Trump: I want the money to go into an account for people where the people buy their own insurance. They will feel like entrepreneurs. Call it Trumpcare… anything but Obamacare. Obamacare is a disaster just like he was.

The result was “institutionalized hunger.”
