With Libra, there is only joy that the relationship has been restored, rather than agitation at the quality of one’s work or self-recrimination for falling away from something for “too long.”

our species' greatest achievement has been figuring out how to keep our young alive, and it's so heartbreaking and infuriating that we're letting them die in Gaza and die in schools and die because we made software programs that help them figure out how to do it

I point this out for clarity. I also have a long-term interest in how my crafting of ideas is sometimes confused for the very serious idea being crafted. So to be clear: AI is political attack on labor with few limited cases for social value and an absolute ecological disaster.

Also implied in a shocking number of Scooby-Doo episodes!
One of the things I’ve learned a lot about this past year is how in many smaller towns, the sheriff, judge, real estate developer and construction company are either the same person, same family or just as good as. It’s all landlords all the way down.
Given the prevalence of Real Estate and Construction company owners in local politics, these efforts are *all* about short-term grift for the already-privileged.
Tucson *just* defeated (like, last week) such an effort. The self-satisfied smarminess of the "pro" politicians in interviews is awful
