I am more a patient reader now, and I have become more engaged in the fantasy it inspired directly or indirectly (T. Kingfisher, the world of Dungeons and Dragons). I am more appreciative of tale-telling. In high school I was frustrated that there aren’t many women in it. That is still true.

maybe i will check it out sometime. many trusted people enjoy it.
