This is what we need more of. Decently sculpted, affordable miniatures that aren't so massively over detailed because 3D modelling lets you, that you need to be a multi-Golden Demon winner to actually paint it.

I wrote about the fake account blowup on X this weekend. A genuine post-truth nightmare and proof that these companies have polluted their platforms so thoroughly and traded reality for profit that they've undermined the very idea of what the internet is supposed to be.
Very upset that an otherwise entertaining Celtic Christianity series set during the Crusades, first featured coconuts in the Holy Land (unlikely but not impossible) and now has Squash (vegetable) in pre-contact Spain!

I finished Blair / Orwell's "The Road To Wigan Pier" last night for an early war wargaming project.
He has a lot of insights on Socialism, the Socialist vs Fascist fight and our relationship with technology that are very relevant in our current global shit show.
Worth a read.

Supermarkets should start selling that bread that's studded with baked bacon again. It was brilliant. You got chunks of cooked bacon in every slice. It toasted up beautifully and was great for sandwiches. I can't be the only person who misses it.
