One of the reasons I'm skeptical about companies like OpenAI doing anything meaningful to address these problems is that to do so, they'll have to make the bot less sycophantic, which people will hate. And when it comes down to it, OpenAI cares much much more about money than safety (obviously).

Today at least two judges were arrested for acts that are not criminally illegal and a two year old U.S. citizen was kidnapped and shipped to Honduras by ICE, who called it a "deportation."
