I'm so freaking honored to have my weird body horror story, "It Seeps in," included in this stunning anthology.

I recently updated my resume. Despite the ever-slippery state of media, I remain hopeful that I will land a gig that’s both challenging and creatively fulfilling. Everything works out like it’s supposed to.

Do you love Elden Ring, Bloodborne, or Dark Souls and wish someone would write a weird quiet horror story paying homage to the occult in said videogames???

If that’s the case, you need to check out my new story over at @3lobedmag.com!!!

At 42,102 words, my current WIP is finally taking shape. I see the end, the arc, and know I still have a lot of work to do, but it's getting there. Maybe another 18-20k words or so. If that. My first attempt at novel-length horror. Eeek! #WritingCommunity

I'm a SNAP recipient... for the last month I was tightening my belt, doing my best to eat cheaper and eating less so I'd have a little left over to help get me through when payments were cut. It was all for nothing. Fuck the dems who supported this.
I received this email about Democrats caving to end the shutdown from one of the SNAP recipients I spoke to:

My 81-year-old dad and 78-year-old step-mom worked a 14 hour day yesterday (5:30am - 7:30pm) at the polls in their little Ohio town and I am brimming with pride about it. And this after they joined the No Kings rally in their town a couple of weeks ago. They're doing more than most and I'm grateful.

Catching up recent horror movies and I finally watched The Substance. What a f*cking weird, disturbing ride. I appreciate the message but damn it went way further into absurdist body horror territory than I expected. I think I have to sit with this one for awhile.
