My book club ("Octavia and Friends") participated in a Trivia night fundraiser for our local indie bookstore here in South Bend. We didn't win, but we did get a prize for having the best table decor. We are the best book club. I love us.

Well, I'm 50 today. What do I have to show for it? Some nicely salted hair, blood red toenails, three new (to me) horror books to read, and really good leftover panang curry for dinner. Also, two sweet kitties and an awesome family. Kind of a lot, really.
