One of my favorite memories with Midna is the time I took a selfie with her and she started yawning, but it looked like she had a big smile. I sent it in to Jones Soda and they chose it to print on a label. Lots of people think their pets are pretty enough to be models. I know for sure mine is.

Maybe we were raised to think wanting attention is bad because nobody could afford to give it to us & that's why we chase it in oblique, unhealthy ways. Maybe it takes healing to learn it's okay to just ask your loved ones directly, and they'll happily provide, and you're not bad for enjoying it
