This book. You need to pre-order this book. The comps in this LJ review are spot on and the hype is real. The Night Ship is so preposterously good it blew my tits clean off. Seriously, a small team of locals canvassed the woods and couldn't find them so now I have to see a plastic surgeon

The first few snowflakes of the winter caught me outside, running, therefore I'm considering myself divinely blessed and will take no arguments.
I will however take any suggestions as to which divinity this might have been, currently idk where to send the thank you note?

Fun language fact of the day: only just now did I realize that the English (well, French) word 'cloche' I keep hearing in cooking shows, and the Romanian word for a broody hen 'cloșcă' (pronounced cloche-ka), are clearly related and both used to talk about something hiding precious cargo underneath
