I’ve got a joke about the UNIT dating controversy but it doesn’t really make any sense.
I’ve got a joke about Fenric but it’s an ancient one.
We should have one of those "I've got a joke about X but Y" things but for Doctor Who

Most of the news is horrifying and this story from Bourton-on-the-Water is no exception. Brace yourselves: a family of eight arrived for a picnic to find that… other people were also having picnics 😱 www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/whats-on/wha...

A pitch for the CBeebies Doctor Who series, developed with my sons (6 and 2)

Dr 6 and Private Eye shapeshifter, Frobisher, investigate toddler-friendly mysteries - e.g. where has the rainbow gone? Why is everyone upside down?
Problems usually caused by the Master or the Rani's experiments...

I think it's very important for more people to know that James McAvoy melted his Elder Scrolls Oblivion disc on a gas stove.

James McAvoy was so hooked on Oblivion he had to burn the disc
Nobody tell him about Skyrim, for the love of god.

1) Send the Doctor to a distant universe they have absolutely no knowledge of, and where no one knows - or cares - who they are
2) Break the Tardis
3) Enjoy their efforts to return to our universe for 10 episodes
4) Cyberturkeys in Christmas special
My manifesto for a better Doctor Who:

1) More monsters that make ordinary but unexplained things, like the gurgling of pipes, where white goods left in a busy area overnight go, scary
2) Frank Cottrell Boyce to write a story every year
3) The companion should live on a housing estate
4) Shipping!
I’ve stolen this for someone (maybe even you?) but the contrast between his first go being centered around the Powell Estate & this one being round a giant revolving tower that fires lasers is stark

Fascinated that the man who (correctly) said this also gave us a 'season one' whose big bad was a pretty obscure character from the past, illustrated by 45 year old flashbacks and not, you know, the Daleks.

Caught up with Dr Who.

1. I LOVED Ncuti Doctor. Loved him. He was great. Should have got to kiss Hot Regency Guy more.
2. "It's goodnight from me"
3. Went 'ah!' at surprise cameo 1.
4. "At least you're not the Other Guy, he's ALWAYS showing up."
5. Went 'AH!!!' at 16.

Oh wow, Doctor Who. It felt like I was watching three episodes all at once but only one was really good. I still grinned the whole way through it. It’s still the best series since 2017. Ncuti still needed more episodes.

The Well is a proper, tight classic cosmic horror #DoctorWho outing blended with a Star Trek Discovery style - it manages to feel economical and look expensive at the same time. And it’s brilliant. It’s genuinely incredible how good this series has been so far.

I loved The Robot Revolution. Doctor Who has never looked so good or seemed more confident. If this *is* the way it has to end, there are worse ways to go.

Lots of fans are gleeful in anticipation of the upcoming #DoctorWho hiatus & it's an example of how some fans don't want the thing that they're a fan of to actually exist. If it exists it can have flaws, it can belong to other people, it can contradict the version that exists only in their heads.
