Jetsons Cereal (1990-1990): A promotional tie-in for "Jetsons: The Movie", based on the 1960s cartoon, this cereal was composed of apple-cinnamon flavored multi-grain pieces, shaped like moons, stars and rocket ships, along with "real apple bits."

McDonald’s packaging for the Minecraft movie is the best fast food promo packaging I have seen in a long time. Each component has been customized and co-branded in fine detail, inside and out. The overall design system looks great and added a nice experience to our #roadtrip 🚗💨

For many, an uncorked bottle is the sound of celebration.

But for a physicist and homebrewer, it presented an opportunity to study the intense changes in temperature, sound, and speed that occur when a swing-top glass bottle is opened.
The Physics That Makes Swing-Top Bottles 'Pop'
A German physicist and homebrewer discovered brief, intense physical reactions that happen when you uncork a bubbly swing-top bottle.

Can We Please Stop Calling Foods ‘Guilt-Free’?
When brands label their candy, soda, and other snacks "guilt-free," it’s just another way to create shame around eating.

Here’s a great collection of cereal box designs from the past.
So here's a question: What are your favorite discontinued cereal box designs/logos for cereals that are still being made? Like, old box designs that you wish would would come back?

100% Agree
Apple Jacks need to bring back their beautiful logo and the apple cereal bowl, instead of trying to be edgy and cool.

As my father is a British Sugarsman I feel like I need to step in here. The reason it's still in paper bags is because the paper is cheap and sugar itself is cheap. The wholesale cost of the sugar would be less than any plastic or cardboard packaging

Packaging Then and Now - 80's Yoo-hoo edition!

There’s a lot to unpack with this comparison:

-Yoo-hoo is still sold in 11 oz volume, which allows headspace for shaking the product before opening 🫨
-Speaking of shaking, they dropped the classic phrase “SHAKE — IT’S GREAT” in favor of “Shake It”
