I'm in an MPH program years after I last was in a classroom setting and it's been interesting seeing the place of AI. In some places I can't see how I ever functioned back in the non AI world. It makes a lot of "busy work" assignments so much easier.

So first, the prompt itself is terrible. We're at the college level and the instructor is giving these students a prompt/rubric just testing whether they read the article rather than make actual arguments or citations?!

My vocabulary still betrays me at times as a NC native, and sometimes the old accent comes out but yeah unfortunately my accent is mostly gone
At a local greasy spoon in my hometown with my mom and sister. Overhearing some Gen Z hunters talking over their breakfast after a morning hunt. They're clearly local but do not have what I would recognize as eastern Carolina accents. Media has really flattened dialects.

Yeah, considering its a certainty Trump will pardon all these people on the way out I'm thinking extradition to the ICC is how we're going to have to hold these people accountable

It really does seem like the catastrophic electoral results from this month have pierced the bubble of hubris that had been surrounding Trump and the Republicans. It seems like they understand the electoral bill for the last 10 years is about to come due.

Definitely starting to see more D+5 to 8 generic ballot polls. And we're still a year out from the midterms and there's no sign that things will be getting better.
