Chunky crime collections.
I mean, does anybody expect Trump was directly going to say, "I want you all to march down and cause enough disruption outside the Capitol - with me, Trump - for the certification to be halted and wavering GOP to concede there's no alternative to me"? 'Cos then no editing would've been necessary!
If you want to sustain your carefully-cultivated fury at the stupid Panorama edit then don’t, whatever you do, read or listen to Trump’s speech in its entirety…

Does anyone know of articles, or collections of articles, worrying about what the advent of the electronic calculator (especially the pocket calculator) might mean for citizens’ arithmetic and mathematical abilities?
Were such articles written? I assume so but I want to see what they said

So many non-political accounts never came here. That tells me the Poodle Club of Southern Maine thinks that X is the generic social media website, with a wider public, not Bluesky. I wish this wasn't the case. I came for the political news/commentary, but I wouldn't mind more variety.

I can't reply directly to this, had to quote, for starters. Better blocklist moderation somehow (long term sulk), otherwise it's like automating old (pre-X) Twitter's casual divisiveness. Better search, if previous conversations are to be valued. Got to up usage & attractiveness to remain viable.
