This is the list of politicians and CEOs who stood next to Trump in the White House when he made his racist remarks about Somalis in the US.

I'm sure they are hoping nobody noticed they all stood silent and smirked. They should hear from us.
OK I’ve put together the list. Shame on all of them:

Ford CEO Jim Farley
Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa
General Motors plant manager John Urbanic
National Auto Dealers Association Chairman Tom Castriota
Transportation Sec Sean Duffy
Deputy transportation Sec Steven Bradbury

NEW with @ruthreader.bsky.social: Small states and states that adopt policies favored by the Trump admin (such as restrictions on SNAP) got a much bigger windfall from the fund Congress created to "transform" rural health care.

Alaska received more than California, which has 40x its population.
Trump admin doles out billions for rural health
Montana and California will receive near equal amounts in 2026, despite their massive size disparity.

FYI, Florida got twice what it asked for in medical supplies during COVID. tRUMP decided who will live or die.

“Amount of medical supplies the feds have shipped to various states, relative to amount requested: Massachusetts 17% Maine 5% New York 2% (and wait for it...) DeSantis Florida 200% .”

I live in CA where all registered voters get a mail in ballot; I stopped using USPS to post my ballot during the first trmp term. I vote early, and take it directly to the election office. Not even the ballot drop boxes, I hand it over to someone in the election office. Paranoid you say?
USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

It's a very dead horse to beat at this point, but it is in fact funny to imagine the reaction to someone in the Obama-era DOJ---Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Vanita Gupta---writing "You are hoes."

Trump frustrated at never-ending Epstein saga, calls on DOJ to release names of only Dems connected to Epstein to “embarrass them” and suggests that despite legal requirement to release everything, DOJ should consider saying “no more.”

But why would anyone remove a nonpartisan Archivist? What could she possibly do that Trump would care about?!? Oh… that’s right… the Archivist receives the official record of presidential Electors and the certified Electoral Votes for President from the states.

The Trump administration says it arrested 4,500 people in a mission targeting “the worst of the worst.” The reality is most of them were people with brown skin who were at the right place —their landscaping jobs, the hardware store, a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru— at the wrong time.

Forest and trees re Epstein documents, as of now.

Trees: Controversies about particular documents.

Forest: Virtually none of the key documents, ones that we know exist, the ones the victims and knowledgeable observers have been demanding to see, have been released.

And so the coverup continues.

Ryan Goodman really excellent here in explaining what we’ve learned and how much we don’t yet know about Epstein—and what documents we should be on the lookout for, how much DOJ is still stonewalling, what Congress might have to do.
