Kamala Harris is a private citizen. Full stop. But what people want is for her to use her hypervisibility and notoriety to speak up publicly. And the issue that many people aren't seeing is that black women are tired of being free labor for other people while eating antiblackness and disrespect.

At the present moment, Harris is not a politician. She holds no office or appointment. There is no substantial office for her to hold until at least 26.

Many want to be comforted and entertained by black people, but do not respect us or think we are worthy of leading or even being treated as valuable peers. And that's where a disconnect occurs. Because what reason do I have to comfort someone who essentially views me--a fellow human being--as a pet?

I had to check, John Fetterman, who literally wears the star of david as a fucking cape, has not tweeted about the Elon Hitler salute. He has only posted about voting for border control and congratulating Marco Rubio for becoming secretary of state.
I’m just going to say that AOC is the acting leader of the Democratic Party until someone proves otherwise. At least insofar as she is responding to the moment with leadership.

Job hunting is just as dumb as it was a decade ago. Applied for two jobs today, but realized I should probably work on my portfolio site. Yeah Frontend developers gotta show off what they can do.

Went in to my CVS, which is huge, and everything is locked up because they only have one (!) person on register and one working the shelves. They don't want to pay workers and it's easy to get the media to play along with a fake crime story.
