Literally nobody from back home believes me when I say that I walk all around downtown Los Angeles and can count the number of times I've felt genuinely unsafe on two fingers and that the far bigger threat to my safety when I'm walking is all the cars.

Those of you frustrated by newspaper paywalls, your library probably has a free service for that. Most libraries offer digital access to databases with most major newspapers and magazines. Some even offer free accounts to specific individual newspapers.
I’m a public librarian in a degenerating democracy, and I am pleading: Care about your library. Use it. See what programs and events it offers. And pay attention to its governing body. See who the trustees are. Consider running yourself. Libraries will need all the community support they can get. 📚

Deleting my Twitter account meant deleting over a decade’s worth of documented hatred of this character, who just pissed me off again on this last ep. Making sure it’s still in the digital record that I think Owen Hunt sucks and I’ll never understand why the show treats him like he’s a Great Guy!!
Dr. Owen Hunt is one of those tv characters that I can’t stand and hope he dies in a fire :)
