Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

Now.

Onions are basically never good in anything, they are a disgusting food and it is a mark of deep moral and spiritual decay that they feature so prominently in so many recipes.

I think this tweet is badly mischaracterizing what Sarah Binder said but the New Republic page keeps crashing on me under the weight of the ads so it’s hard to tell for sure
Alarming: Trump really can send Congress home if Mike Johnson creates the pretext he needs to adjourn lawmakers. Then he can recess-appoint Gaetz or anyone he wants.

On the pod, congressional expert Sarah Binder explains how this would work. You'll learn a ton:

As Trump mulls recess appointments to ram through disastrous personnel choices like Matt Gaetz, an expert in congressional rules explains how this really could happen—and why it’s so dangerous.

Another traditionally animated commercial I did around 2002. In this one we had a lot of dynamic shots involving 3D rendered coaster elements. I had to animate using photostats to match the 2D to the 3D. A process that would've been a lot easier with today's tech.

the very first thing the Senate GOP has to do is select a new leader.

there is no obvious frontrunner, at least three different guys think they should be the man, Trump hates all three, and a quarter of the caucus literally tried to kill the rest four years ago.
in 2026, if senate dems do their job, voters should be looking at a government that has done absolutely fuck all over the last two years, one that fights about the color of the drapes in the cloakroom and whose members absolutely despise each other and can't even agree on a breakfast order
“Stop government from doing anything and run on ‘do-nothing government’” was holy sainted Bob Dole’s winning strategy in 1993-4. The trade press will scream about it coming from Democrats (Murc’s Law) but deliberate dysfunction doesn’t make it down to low-attention voters.
