Playing around with Sora 2 and it is the same warmed up dogshit OpenAI always slings. I also got it to cough up direct copies of Naruto and Demon Slayer *with audio from the shows*. It’s obvious they have ingested a ton of copyrighted material

If the shooter had killed a leftist podcaster, he would have a multi million dollar Go Fund Me to cover his legal fees tomorrow, and an interview lined up with Charlie Kirk.

Some thoughts on today’s awful murder

The horrific Charlie Kirk assassination is genuinely saddening — even tho I never agreed with his views, he was still a fellow human. I don’t know why this one is so much more upsetting than others — this stuff happens every day here — maybe the arterial direct hit. idk. It’s truly awful times here.

6 months to go from a democracy to an autocracy

Nearly 250 years of independence from a monarch, ending now because half our elected representatives + SCOTUS have no interest in preserving democracy

This 4th I'm saying goodbye to America as we know it. Hope it may return within my lifetime

Remember that several people asked Pam Bondi during confirmation SPECIFICALLY what she would do on matters pertaining to Qatar (which she did not disclose) or GEO (pertinent to the Baraka arrest). She said she'd consult top career lawyer at DOJ abt recusal.

Then she fired that lawyer.

No one who touched this article believes that the US State Department is a reliable source, yet here they are amplifying US State Department statements as if they were a reliable source.
The Trump administration is working with the Israeli government on a plan to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and end Israel’s two-month blockade on food and fuel deliveries, according to the State Department. Aid workers have raised serious doubts about the approach.

Trump Denies Posting Image of Himself as Pope, Laughing Off Critics
The president suggested Catholics, who have criticized the apparently A.I.-generated image, were not offended, and said that anyone who was “can’t take a joke.”

A cool thing for Dems to do would be to list conservative organizations they would revoke tax-exempt status for (on the entirely reasonable line that many are not real social welfare orgs and are not nonpartisan).

Might concentrate the minds of some Federalist Society (501c3) members.

Cool cool showing us what taxes we are paying to the gov. is now a hostile act .

It does not matter where this story came from. AMERICANS should be demanding that the tariff be reflected on every receipt because we are paying TAXES to the government that we, at this point, do not get to reflect on our returns. JFC. Americans need to stop being so bovine as consumers.

Two former Wells Fargo executives were fined $8.5M by the Biden administration for covering up the bank's infamous fake account scandal.

Trump just slashed those fines to a paltry $150,000 after Wells Fargo gave $1M to his inauguration.

See how this works?

OK, I'm confused. If you want to use tariffs to encourage US consumers to buy American products, wouldn't explicitly displaying the tariff costs of imported stuff be exactly what you should be doing?

I have a bipartisan bill that would make these protections ironclad. It passed the House unanimously (twice) and it was never taken up in the Senate. Now Trump is laying the groundwork to lock up reporters who don't rat out their sources who expose crimes by his administration.

The way to fight autocracies is to talk about corruption and incompetence. It would be nice if these stories did that …
My overly-wordy point here is that what's missing from the Sanders/AOC coverage is the "what are they talking about" and "why is this catching on" story. Which you saw a ton of during the 2021 anti-CRT campaign.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.
